Privacy Policy of Feifar Fastening Technology GmbH for the processing of personal data in the context of web services on www.feifar.at (Information according to Art 13/14 GDPR and TKG) Version 2 03/2021

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within our website.

1. Who is responsible for data processing and who can you contact?

FEIFAR Fastening Technology GmbH, Frank-Stronach-Straße 9, A-8200 Gleisdorf, +43 (0)3112 36 155, office@feifar.at

2. What data is processed and from what sources does this data come?

a) Technical Data
The website of the controller collects a series of general data and information with each call-up by a data subject or an automated system. These general data and information are stored in the server's log files.

Collected data includes:

(1) the browser types and versions used,
(2) the operating system used by the accessing system,
(3) the website from which an accessing system reaches our website (so-called referrers),
(4) the sub-websites accessed via an accessing system on our website,
(5) the date and time of access to the website,
(6) an Internet Protocol address (IP address),
(7) the Internet service provider of the accessing system and
(8) other similar data and information that serve the security of our IT systems.

Using this technical data and information, the controller does not draw conclusions about the data subject. This information is needed to:
(1) deliver the content of the website correctly,
(2) optimize the content of the website and its advertisement,
(3) ensure the long-term functionality of our IT systems and website technology, and
(4) provide law enforcement authorities with the necessary information for prosecution in the event of a cyber-attack.

The IP address of your computer is stored only for the duration of your use of the website and is then deleted or anonymized, unless longer storage is necessary to ensure the functionality or security of the website (e.g., in the event of Internet attacks). The remaining data is stored for a limited period, during which it cannot be traced back to individuals as the associated IP address is deleted or anonymized. We use this data to operate our website, identify and fix website errors, determine website load, and make adjustments or improvements.
This data and information are statistically analyzed by the controller to increase data protection and data security to ensure an optimal level of protection for the personal data we process. The anonymous data of the server log files are stored separately from any personal data provided by a data subject.

b) Personal Data
Personal data (e.g., name, address, email address) that you voluntarily provide to us, such as when you register for a newsletter or submit a contact request via email, are used for the purpose of providing the associated services (e.g., sending newsletters, responding to inquiries) and stored for the duration of the usage or contractual relationship, unless a longer storage period is required for fulfilling a contractual obligation, legitimate interest, or for asserting or defending legal claims. You can withdraw your consent at any time without giving reasons by contacting us at: office@feifar.at

c) Contact via the Website
The website of the controller includes information that allows quick electronic contact with our company, as well as direct communication with us, including a general address of the so-called electronic mail (email address). If a data subject contacts the controller via email or a contact form, the personal data transmitted by the data subject is automatically stored. Such personal data transmitted on a voluntary basis by a data subject to the controller are stored for processing or contacting the data subject. There is no transfer of this personal data to third parties. The data is deleted after the contact request is completed.

d) Cookies
The websites of the controller do not use cookies.
